Which momentum stocks just triggered a moving-average crossover? Every day this scans a tracked watchlist of ~90 active names and lists the signals — free, no signup.
What this is. A once-daily scan that flags stocks where a faster moving average crosses above a slower one — a classic trend-turning signal. It runs after the close across a fixed watchlist of ~90 liquid, active tickers (listed below). The exact moving-average settings are our own.
How to read it. Signals are grouped by freshness: Today is a brand-new cross, 1 Day / 2 Days are recent, and Near Cross means the fast average is closing in from below — an early heads-up. The MA gap shows how far the fast average now sits above the slow one; RSI gives the momentum zone; Vol flags unusual volume vs. the recent average; a news tag shows whether recent headlines skewed positive or negative.
What it is not. Not real-time, not a buy list, not financial advice. A crossover is a starting point for your own research — plenty of them fail (see whipsaw). Want to test how this kind of signal actually performs? Run it in the strategy simulator.
3 fresh crossover signals, plus 22 in a confirmed uptrend, today of ~90 tracked stocks. Only active names show here — the full watchlist is in “What we’re tracking” below.
A fresh moving-average crossover on the latest close.
Fast average still below the slow one, but narrowing from below — about to cross.
Already in a confirmed uptrend — the fast average sits above the slow one. Not fresh crosses, but trending names to watch. Strongest trend first.
This is the full watchlist the scanner checks every day. Only the handful that trigger a signal appear in the results above — that's why far fewer show there than are listed here. If a stock isn't on this list, the scanner won't flag it. Want one added? Use the box below.
Tell us the ticker. We review requests and add good fits to the watchlist — leave your email if you'd like a note when it's in.
How adds work: requests are reviewed and added by hand, so it isn't instant. A ticker needs roughly 3+ months of trading history to be scanned — brand-new listings won't show signals yet — and it should be a reasonably liquid, normally-priced stock, not a thin penny name. Once added, it appears in the watchlist above and shows a signal only when it actually triggers.
